Assist with opening and closing procedures of the facility as assigned. Manages the desk(s) in the weight room or cardio area as assigned. Oversees member safety in the fitness rooms. Takes corrective and preventive actions as needed in a professional manner. Provide excellent customer service. Assist with wiping down fitness equipment. Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
30% Oversight of the weight room and cardio area to ensure the safety of members.
25% Deliver exceptional customer service to members by addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may come up.
20% Assist with cleaning the exercise equipment at the MUSC Wellness Center.
15% Assist members in checking out equipment to fulfill their exercise and recreation requirements.
5% Assist in opening and closing the facility as per shift requirements.

Qualifications:
Must be a current student at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Must have or be able to obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days of being hired.
