CNC Grinder

**Candidates with experience on a Studer S41 CNC Grinder preferred. **

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Loads unloads stops and starts manual and or CNC machines.
• Performs repeat setups. Listens to machine during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull (in need of dressing) grinding wheels.
• Measures dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and fixtures.
• Select and mount grinding wheels on machines according to specifications using hand tools and applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.
• Dress grinding wheels according to specifications.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to operate various type of type of machines such as surface grinders CNC grinding machines and or manual grinding machines as well as their maintenance.
• Must have experience on the following:
  Walter Helitronic Power 400 w/loader and wheel changer (x3) Walter Heli check Vacuum Brazing machine (Pin Power) MaxEngineering Wheel dresser Monosets Surface grinder
• Knowledge of blueprint reading calipers micrometers and basic trigonometry or math skills is a must. Ability to use math to solve problems. Knowledge of GDT.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• A minimum 13 years of experience working with various metals.
