Manufacturing / Production Grinder

Position Summary
The Grinder plays a critical role in ensuring Hollaender Manufacturing produces high-quality defect-free products delivered on time to our customers. With more than 75 years of American-made experience and superior manufacturing technology Hollaender Manufacturing produces some of the most reliable durable and high-quality hand railing systems in the industryand this role is essential to maintaining that standard of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Company-Wide Expectations
- Treat all associates with respect and professionalism
- Perform all work in accordance with company policies safety standards and government regulations
- Consistently meet production requirements and commitments
Position-Specific Duties
- Manually grind aluminum castings using a belt grinder
- Remove all parting lines and gate connections to ensure smooth finished parts
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Stand and/or walk for up to 100% of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Perform frequent repetitive hand and arm movements
- Work in areas with elevated noise levels
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
