Learning and Development Specialist

• Design develop and deliver engaging learning content using instructional design best practices for inperson virtual and hybrid formats.
• Facilitate training sessions workshops and programs that support employee development onboarding leadership and technical skillbuilding.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and HR partners to assess learning needs and create targeted training solutions.
• Develop interactive learning materials including presentations elearning modules workbooks guides and job aids.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback assessments and performance data to continuously improve program quality.
• Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring content is current accessible and engaging.
• Support the implementation of companywide development initiatives such as onboarding compliance training and leadership development.
• Stay current on trends in adult learning theory instructional design and facilitation techniques.
• Contribute to fostering a culture of learning and professional development throughout the organization.

Experience:

Required: Minimum 3 years

Education:

• Preferred Bachelors degree in Education Human Resources Instructional Design or related field. Four years of additional experience in lieu of education.

Specialized Skills:

• Proven experience in instructional design and training facilitation.
• Strong platform skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners in both virtual and inperson environments.
• Proficiency in elearning development tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline Camtasia Canva) and LMS platforms.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum design methodologies.
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience measuring learning effectiveness and applying data to improve content.
• Certification in instructional design learning & development or facilitation (e.g. ATD CPLP CPTD) is a plus.
