ALUMINUM CASTING PROCESS ENGINEERDEVELOPMENTAL FOUNDRYJob descriptionEntry Level Process Engineer with Foundry/Metallurgist experience/ time 40 hours day shift 6am4:30pm. Some Saturdays with paid Duties:You will be part of a team that develops and maintains nonferrous casting processes. You will be required to perform applied research/development while also being hands on to discover and overcome the challenges of various metal processes and manufacturing systems especially as related to metal casting and defects. You should be prepared to participate in all stages of varied engineering developments and plant floor implementation. You will help develop process understanding perform calculations defining metal quality and material process evaluate engineering software results and perform defect analysis in order to refine and maintain the manufacturing process. You will interact with vendors supplying foundry materials tooling and simulation services. You will be involved in product development prototyping manufacturing and maintaining metal and casting quality in SemiPermanent and Permanent castings. Project management and customer interaction will also be required. Very open and broad position with opportunities to grow and be part of many and varied casting programs and development experience:Metal casting inspection and defect analysis and or SPM and Permanent mold Degree in Materials Engineering with Metallurgy focusorRelated Engineering degree considered if 24 years preferred experience is in metallurgy and metals processes Degree in Materials/Metallurgy with 2 years of attire Steel toe shoes are required
