Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)
Please note that this is a permanent position and we do not offer freelance/contract arrangement for the role.
As a Business Solution Developer you will be part of the Business Support Tools team within the Hyper Automation department of the GDC division!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with internal clients to understand system requirements and business processes.
- Translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Assisting in the analysis of business and technical needs.
- Developing and maintaining applications including autonomous programming testing and maintenance activities.
- Applying development techniques and best practices to deliver IT solutions swiftly.
- Producing and maintaining tools to improve efficiency and service quality for internal clients across all Euroclear departments in an agile manner adapting to changing contexts.
- Collecting requirements designing building unit testing supporting user acceptance testing documenting and launching solutions.
- Interacting frequently with users business analysts project teams and technical experts.
- Writing and reviewing documentation (technical notes intervention guides enduser documentation).
- Designing and developing customized interfaces within time budget and quality requirements.
- Testing developments and maintaining existing applications.
- Tracking and monitoring tools for potential issues and conflicts.
- Providing daylight support to end users for applications in production.
- Being the primary contact when the product owner is unavailable.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 2016/O365 (Excel and Access) C#.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries.
- Experience in a distributed development environment
Soft Skills:
- Flexibility and openmindedness.
- Customer focused passionate about providing solutions.
- Autonomous work style.
- Adaptability to a complex and changing environment..
- Ability to act as a backup for the product owner.
Killing Criteria:
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2016/O365 (Excel and Access) C#.
- Good communication skills.
