The Psychology Program at Rockhurst University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor/Program Director (nonTenureTrack) of Industrial Organizational Psychology for the new Master of Science Industrial Organizational Psychology program. This is a 9month position beginning in August 2026; however a start date of summer 2026 is possible. The Psychology program is housed in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching. In addition to demonstrating excellence in teaching the successful candidate is expected to oversee student internships and capstone programs in the program and engage in service with the department college and university. The scholarship expectations are minimal. The successful candidate should be able to teach a wide range of industrial organizational psychology courses such as Industrial Organizational Psychology Advanced Research Methods and Statistics I and II Psychology of Employee Selection & Development Work Attitudes and Behavior Professional Issues and Ethics and Consulting. The teaching load is 18 hours with some reassigned time as program director.
