Job Description
Job Summary:
Anderson Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team in Cockeysville Maryland. As the Automotive PartsCounterperson you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients by assisting them with their automotive parts needs. This is a fulltime position that offers a base salary plus commission and the opportunity to work with a reputable dealership.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary of $37500 to $60000 per year based on experience

Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner either in person or on the phone
Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles
Use electronic cataloging and ordering systems to accurately locate and order parts
Keep track of inventory levels and order new parts as needed
Communicate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and services
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
Continuously update knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends
Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Follow all safety and security procedures in the parts department
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in an automotive parts department & or related field preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to use electronic cataloging and ordering systems
Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office & CDK preferred
Familiarity with various automotive makes and models
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
