What will I do as a Laundry Aide at Moravian ManorCommunities
Removal of trash bags and recyclables of up to25 pounds from work area to dumpster.
Process linens from laundry chute room towashers dryers and transport clean linens to closets.
Process dietary linens and housekeeping cleaningcloths and transport to appropriate areas.
Process residents personal clothing. Includescollecting washing drying ironing mending labeling and returning tocorrect resident.
Friendly respectful interactions with residentsand their families.
Keep residents closets and drawers and halllinen closets and carts neat orderly and well stocked.
Clean laundry room equipment and floor. Removedryer lint.
What do I need to be a Laundry Aide at Moravian ManorCommunities
Ability to read manuals and product labels.
Ability to follow instructions given bysupervisor.
Lifting must be able to lift and place in carttrash up to 25 pounds to be taken to the dumpster from assigned work area oncea day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of clean linens to loadand unload carts.
Done constantly and is essential bend stoopkneel and twist and to be able to load and unload dry and wet linens from 5575 and 95 pound washers and 75 95 pound dryers.
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
