Job Description

Requirements for this role:

Engineering specific

Ability to use CAD software and interpret engineering drawings.
Create drawing files for lasercutting of parts.
Parts setup routing times setup and bill of materials setup (multilevel).
Ability to use tools such as lasercutting rate calculator etc.
Work with accounting on cost rolls and pricing.

Fabrication specific

Ability to learn about fabrication/ production processes.
Workorder processing and back flushing of parts and laser nesting.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work with multiple tasks and to perform under pressure.

Current undergraduate or graduate student in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Materials Science Engineering or related field.
Previous experience in manufacturing setting is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a process driven environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities:


Be an active participant in the success of FS Solutions Leeds operations by supporting Engineering and Fabrication operations.
