Job Description

The Arlington Public Schools is accepting applications from applicants interested in teachingGrade 3 at PeirceElementary School.
Candidates for the elementary teaching position must be appropriately licensed for the position. Candidates must also be collaborative professionals who will work with gradelevel teams and regular and special educators throughout the school and love working with children and be willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. In addition Arlington expects teachers to work diligently and collaboratively to implement the Districts approved curriculum for all subjects. Candidates who have an English as a Second Language license will be strongly preferred.
Arlington has a well established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year.

Salary and Benefits are consistent with theCollective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.
TheSalary Scheduleis on our website. Salary placement is based on Education and Experience.
Arlington has a wellestablished new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year. The first official work day in theschool year will be August 27 2025. However new staff are required to attend several days of orientation and training during the last two weeks of August.
