Job Description

Our client is a boutique law practice seeking an experienced conveyancing wills and estates solicitor to join their team on an initial 6month role with the view to move to permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of conveyancing transactions including property sales purchases and transfers.
  • Extensive experience using PEXA.
  • Provide expert advice and services related to wills estate planning and probate matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts wills and powers of attorney.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as needed.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive legal support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in conveyancing wills and estates.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and estate planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice law in Australia.
