Job Description
Cole Scott & Kissane P.A. an AVrated firm and Floridas largest litigation firm is seeking a fulltime experienced Legal Assistant for its Pensacola office. Candidates must have at least 3 years of recent civil litigation experience. Insurance defense experience is preferred. A working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook are a must.
Job duties include but are not limited to: managing case files; preparing correspondence pleadings and discovery; service and efiling of pleadings and discovery; scheduling depositions mediations and hearings; assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions mediations hearings trials and conferences; managing attorney calendar; and additional duties as required by Managing Attorney/Office Manager.
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills strong organizational skills a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability stay calm under pressure of multiple deadlines.
