Job Description
Sr. Technical Program Manager
The Engineering Operations teams mission is to accelerate the outcomes of Omnicells Application & Cloud Engineering organization by driving programs and uniting crossfunctional teams. We are looking for a bestinclassSenior Technical Program Manager (STPM) who will manage complex programs through the development and/or operational processes at positionrequires a solid understanding of program requirements as well as the technologies used in the program. Scope of responsibilitiesrange from focused projects to multidimensional programs involving multiple disciplines and crossfunctions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure commitment from teams across the company for new initiatives drive consensus on the technical approach set timelines and lead crossfunctional development teams from design through delivery
- Coordinatebetween various groups at Omnicell includingengineering manufacturing operations supply chain quality procurement finance etc.
- Anticipate needs and proactively identify aspects of the projectthatmay be goingoff track develop a recovery plan andcommunicate the planto all stakeholders
- Ensure outstandingcommunication across teams; manage actionable information up to the executive level in Engineering
- Develop and drive highlevel strategic initiatives
- Review deliverables against requirements definedby product management
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong technical Project Manager skills
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to interact withall levels of the organization includingexecutive level.
- Demonstrated success at public speaking and detailedreport writing.
- Team Player and Self Starter;Drives teams and self to meet commitments in order to achieve success.; Accountable for results.
- Adept at creating effective presentations visuals and outputs.
- Possessesstrong business acumen
- Experience in budget tracking
- Track record in creating technical specifications by analyzing requirements and digesting product management needs
- Ability todealwith ambiguity and can digestcomplex problem. Experience inarticulatingpossible paths forward with pro(s) and con(s)
- Deep background with Agile Iterative development process
- Very familiar with Operational process (Procurement Proof of Concept to a ready to scale offering)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline finance or business.
- 5 years of Technical Program Management experience
- 10 years in project / program / development / product management
- Strong backgroundin Agile development process
- Experience in both hardware and software new product development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters preferred.
- Project Management certification or certificate (PMP PgMP CPM DAU etc.)
Work Conditions
- Office Environment
- Up to 20% travel
