Job Description

Job Summary
The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will oversee all aspects of strength and conditioning for assigned sports.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Design and implement yearround strength and conditioning training programs for assigned teams. Assist with design and implementation for two to three (23) teams. Distribute nutritional supplements and educate the studentathletes on nutrition. Collaborate with athletic training staff to accommodate for any injured athlete and make necessary modifications. Assist with coordinating facility schedule. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified Certification ( SCCC ) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification ( CSCS ). CPR /first aid/ AED certified. One (1) year of previous experience in strength and conditioning or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree. Two (2) years of previous strength and conditioning experience.

Work Schedule
Monday Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some early and evenings required. Some travel required.
