Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for healthcare excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. As a Medical Assistant you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms
Record patient information such as vital signs medical history and reason for visit
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
Administer treatments as directed by healthcare providers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinic areas
Schedule appointments answer phones and handle patient inquiries
Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Certification as a Medical Assistant (e.g. CMA RMA) preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
