Position Overview:

As a Sr. Specialist in Software Engineering you will be responsible for the endtoend delivery process of software applications or services. This includes design development testing deployment production application support and maintenance with a strong emphasis on automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and Review:Gather and review software requirements/user stories provide estimates create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.

• Development and Testing:Implement specific development methodologies using various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies based on business requirements. Collaborate with engineers/architects clients etc. to validate test environments test data and test results. Design and implement code fixes validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting.

• Comprehensive Testing:Perform Unit Testing dynamic application security testing interface testing integration testing endtoend testing and user acceptance testing.

• Support and Maintenance:Provide application support troubleshoot configuration and environment issues and support the software deployment process.

Job Contribution:

You will be a technical professional with some experience possessing sound technical knowledge that is growing through application and expanding knowledge of AT&T technologies.

Education and Experience:

• Education:Preferred Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Applied Science Electrical Engineering Mathematics Developer Nanodegree or equivalent experience.

• Experience:Typically requires 23 years of relevant experience.

• Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in a scaled agile development environment.

  • Handson experience with Angular (modules controllers directives filters and factories).

  • Proficient in Bootstrap Grid and web application development using HTML/HTML5 CSS/CSS3 (SASS LESS) JavaScript jQuery AngularJS (1.0 & 2.0) AJAX JSON and ReactJS.

  • Experience in database administration development design maintenance and production support of relational databases business applications and new server setup in Azure.

  • Experience in MySQL MariaDB Java Spring Boot and Azure Infrastructure Administration preferred.

  • Handson experience with Tomcat server Eclipse Putty HeidiSQL (MariaDB client) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

  • Proficient in managing security and networking of cloud resources.

Our Sr Specialist Software Engineering earns between $105600.00$158400.00 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
