Overview
The Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to the mission of saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in lowand middleincome countries. We work at the invitation of governments to support them and the private sector to create and sustain highquality health systems.
CHAI was founded in 2002 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic with the goal of dramatically reducing the price of lifesaving drugs and increasing access to these medicines in the countries with the highest burden of the disease. Over the following two decades CHAI has expanded its focus. Today along with HIV we work in conjunction with our partners to prevent and treat infectious diseases such as COVID19 malaria tuberculosis and hepatitis. Our work has also expanded into cancer diabetes hypertension and other noncommunicable diseases and we work to accelerate the rollout of lifesaving vaccines reduce maternal and child mortality combat chronic malnutrition and increase access to assistive technology. We are investing in horizontal approaches to strengthen health systems through programs in human resources for health digital health and health financing. With each new and innovative program our strategy is grounded in maximizing sustainable impact at scale ensuring that governments lead the solutions that programs are designed to scale nationally and learnings are shared globally.

In India CHAI works in partnership with its India registered affiliate William J Clinton Foundation (WJCF) under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) at the Central and States levels on an array of high priority initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes. Currently WJCF supports government partners across projects to expand access to quality care and treatment for HIV/AIDS Hepatitis tuberculosis COVID19 common cancers sexual and reproductive health immunization and essential medicines.

Project Background:
India continues to bear the worlds highest burden of tuberculosis (TB) in terms of absolute numbers of incident TB cases. National TB prevalence survey (201921) revealed a significant 31.3% (estimated) crude prevalence of TB infection (TBI) among Indias population aged 15 years and above. Moreover India has set an ambitious target of eliminating TB by 2025. The National Strategic Planoutlines a critical target of initiating 95% of eligible TBI cases on TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) by 2025.
The TB Household Contact Management (TB HCM) project is a pioneering initiative addressing critical gaps in coverage and completion of TPT amongst household contacts of notified drug sensitive pulmonary TB patients with a special emphasis on children under five (U5). Planned to be implemented in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh this fouryear TB HCM project aims to impact over 2.5 million individuals through a communitybased service delivery model that leverages community health workers from the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and general health systems. Marking the first major rollout of TPT while focussing on Universal Health Coverage strategies the project focuses on decentralising and strengthening TB care within general health systems. Additionally it incorporates an impact evaluation component amplifying its role in advancing TB prevention and care in alignment with national health priorities and international best practices.
Position summary:
The Analyst will report to State Manager and will play a critical role in supporting the effective implementation and continuous improvement of project activities through robust monitoring evaluation and learning practices. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to the projects M&E framework processes and tools to track progress measure outcomes and generate insights for strategic decisionmaking. The Analyst will work closely with program teams government stakeholders and implementing partners to ensure systematic data collection analysis and reporting. The role includes designing and deploying userfriendly M&E tools maintaining highquality project databases preparing monthly performance reports and supporting evaluations and field validations. The incumbent will also contribute to capacitybuilding efforts at multiple administrative levels helping to strengthen local systems for routine monitoring and supervision.
WJCF is seeking a highly motivated resultsoriented individual with demonstrated leadership skills and outstanding analytical skills. The Analyst will work closely with National M&E Manager Associate and Analyst to support activities in the project. The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills strong analytical skills be able to independently drive engagement with key implementation partners and handle large scale project data. Responsibilities
1. Routine program M&E
- Ensure compliance with the project M&E framework processes and tools to track progress and outcomes
- Support implementation teams in aligning activities with work plans and monitoring framework.
- Design and deploy innovative and userfriendly M&E tools to streamline data collection and analysis.
2. Data Management Analysis and Reporting
- Maintain accurate highquality project monitoring databases.
- Perform regular data analysis to support program decisionmaking and recommend corrective actions for program optimization
- Prepare monthly indicator reports and track progress against key indicators.
- Conduct field visits to validate data quality and completeness.
3. Capacity Building and Technical Support
- Build capacity of government stakeholders at state district and subdistrict levels in routine supervision and monitoring of project activities.
- Support programmatic activities including training of service providers and improving recording reporting systems.
4. Evaluation and Learning
- Support project thematic and crosscutting evaluations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and teams.
- Synthesize findings and disseminate key learnings through presentations reports briefs and publications for diverse audiences.
- Contribute to knowledge building and sharing in the field of monitoring and evaluation.
- Engage with partners to leverage relevant external data for enhanced project monitoring.

5. Stakeholder collaboration
- Liaise with program teams government counterparts and partners to align data strategies and refine interventions.
- Support evidencebased communication through actionable data insights.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Science Engineering Management Public Health or related field
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience in analytics research or M&E
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data for a diverse audience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word; experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong desire to work in a fastpaced limitedstructure highpressure multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within and outside the program state.
- Preference would be given to candidates with experience in government stakeholder management
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Hindi.
