Do you have Catering Experience or a Catering Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds 706/1 or equivalent
In this High School Kitchen you would be responsible for all activities in a larger highvolume kitchen and its surrounds connected with the provision of a catering service which include satellite services.
Coordinating the activities of staff working within the catering environment.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork and electronic returns are completed and submitted accordingly and on time.
Competent in using IT systems including cashless purchase system email payroll system and council software.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up setting up and clearing away equipment and tables) and cleaning of the kitchen its surround.

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff are provided with meals throughout the school day during term time as required High Schools provide Breakfast Morning Break and Lunch.
Training on In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.
The Person
Do you have Catering Experience or a Catering Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds 706/1 or equivalent
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend a full day of Induction Training before starting in post.
