Production Lead **2nd Shift**

What our Juice/Concentrate Extraction Lead will do:

• Implement safety GMP and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe environment and foster a culture of safety.
• Ensure a food safety environment and promote a quality culture.
• Create and sustain a professional working environment.
• Ensure materials and products meet specified standards.
• Achieve operational goals and targets.
• Support maintenance and ensure the operation and cleanliness of all machines.
• Keep the area clean and organized.
• At the start of the shift assign workstations communicate the schedule to employees and outline tasks to be completed.
• Send shift KPIs via email as required.
• Monitor breaks and lunches ensuring everyone takes their allotted time.
• Verify and initial shift paperwork as needed.
• At the end of the shift address safety and quality concerns reconcile paperwork track materials used and address quality issues.
• Take ownership of and participate in personal development.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule including some mandatory weekends and overtime.
• Assist with or perform COP/CIP processes and handle chemicals during the cleaning process.
• Be certified in aerial lift operation.
• Receive chemical handling training.
• Perform any assigned work.

Qualifications :

Skills & experience that are necessary as our Juice/Concentrate Extraction Lead will include but not limited to:

• Proficiency in adding and subtracting twodigit numbers as well as multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s.
• Competence in performing these calculations with units of weight volume and distance.
• Capability to follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions using common sense.
• The role frequently involves standing walking reaching with hands and arms and bending kneeling crouching or crawling. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• The role often requires working outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme cold.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Responsible for delivering presentations and leading meetings as needed.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with external partners.
• Must be selfdriven and capable of achieving significant results in an unstructured environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
