The Role

Join us as a Compliance Manager where you will take ownership of your role shaping your own roadmap alongside the General Counsel. Youll provide clear compliance advice lead endtoend monitoring reviews and drive regulatory policy implementation all while ensuring accurate reporting and leading change programmes. With exposure to senior stakeholders and regulators in a highgrowth fintech/greentech environment youll work closely with an experienced General Counsel. Strong communication project management and collaboration skills are essential as well as a passion for training and continuous improvement in a fastpaced dynamic sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory horizon & policy: Maintain the compliance plan; map evolving rules (Consumer Duty CONC SYSC SM&CR) to business processes; brief on impacts and drive timely change programmes.
  • Monitoring & MI: Improve upon and execute a proportionate and compliant monitoring programme and track actions through to closure.
  • Firstline execution and enablement: Improve and where necessary execute IAR / AR onboarding & annual training including financialpromotion controls so our introducers remain inside their narrow scope.
  • Regulatory returns & reporting: Lead RegData submissions ensuring accuracy audit trail and ontime delivery.
  • SM&CR & Fitness & Propriety: Run annual certifications; maintain Statements of Responsibility & Conduct Rule training logs.
  • Advisory & projects: Sit in the room on new product design and marketing; identify conduct risks early and document ConsumerDuty outcome testing.
  • Compliance Culture Carrier: Model the compliance behaviours we expect to see coach the firstline and help colleagues grow their compliance commitment and knowledge.

What were looking for:

  • Experienced compliance professional: we would anticipate this role being suitable for someone with 25 years second line compliance experience in consumer finance with handson SM&CR and RegData reporting knowledge.
  • Regulatory fluency: Confident navigating CONC PRIN SYSC COCON DISP and the Consumer Duty outcomes framework as well as CCA DSR and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations.
  • Practical and strategic: Proven ability to offer clear compliance advice lead endtoend monitoring reviews and manage regulatory change.
  • Strong communicator: Firstclass written and presentation skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse stakeholders.
  • Project & time management: Skilled at balancing priorities meeting deadlines and leading crossfunctional teams in fastpaced environments.
  • Collaborative and adaptable: Works seamlessly with varied teams; thrives in scaleup settings and is keen to dive into new areas.
  • Creative trainer: Brings compliance to life with engaging training sessions including for IAR/AR obligations.
  • Problemsolver: Spots risks early and implements practical businessfriendly solutions.

Extra Credit:

  • ICA Diploma in Governance Risk & Compliance (or equivalent) is a plus.

Our Recruitment Process:

  • Initial Call: Start with an introductory call with our Junior Talent Acquisition Partner to discuss the role and your potential fit. (30 mins)
  • Values Interview: Engage in a detailed discussion about your past experiences with our General Counsel (1 hr)
  • Task Stage: Present a task to our General Counsel and meet with a key stakeholder that you would interact with were you successful (1 hr)
  • Final Interview: Final interview with a member of senior management or our senior leadership team (30mins)
