Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver captivating Geography Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations ensuring a strong understanding of key geographical concepts.
- Cultivate a dynamic learning environment that encourages geographical inquiry critical thinking about global issues and fieldwork.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Geography providing insightful feedback to enhance their understanding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of geographical concepts processes and contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of making geography relevant and engaging for students.
