Location
Some areas this employer covers include Maidenhead HenleyonThames Twyford Wallingford and surrounding areas of Berkshire & South Oxfordshire.
Pay rates hours & benefits
- 120150 per day plus pension scheme paid holidays and Employee Assistance programme.
- 45 meal contribution each week
- Shifts varied based on client needs
- Each assignment will provide you a comfortable bedroom with reasonable amenities
- The areas we cover have some lovely countryside beautiful market towns and villages close to the river Thames yet still easily accessible to London
Job Role
Becoming a LiveIn Care Professionals is such a rewarding job within your community. You will support our clients in their own homes and carry out a variety of duties; no two days will be the same. This may include:
- Helping someone get out of bed washed/showered dressed and other elements of personal care.
- Preparing breakfast lunch and dinner.
- Medication administration
- Helping with light housework laundry vacuuming ironing or a spot of gardening
- Helping with grocery shopping.
- Being a listening ear and to treat them with the respect and dignity everyone deserves.
Qualifications :
What experience and skills are required
- Ability to listen communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
- Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who may have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to nondiscriminatory care practice
- Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable.
- This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
- Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes) or reliable transport.
- Above all you will have an empathetic nature and a real passion to make a difference in the life of an older person.
- Previous experience in supporting individuals with dementia is preferred including providing companionship managing behavioral changes and assisting with daily living activities.
- Experience in moving and handling stroke patients preferred.

Additional Information :
As a Live In Care Professionals you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition we offer comprehensive training and support.
