Transaction Manager Private Equity Real Estate Location: Remote Offshore Job type: Fulltime About Us: We are a private equity real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and management of multifamily and industrial assets. We are looking for a Transaction Manager with strong attention to detail and a background in real estate or legal documentation to support our investment team in executing acquisitions and dispositions. This role will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition escrow and due diligence process as well as managing the review and synthesis of key transaction documents such as loan agreements operating agreements purchase and sale agreements and leases. This position is critical in ensuring timely progress toward closing proactively identifying issues during due diligence and overcoming obstacles that could impact closing timelines or the postclosing business plan for the asset. Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Oversight: Manage deal flow from opening escrow to closing ensuring all deadlines are met and identifying roadblocks early.
Due Diligence: Lead the acquisition due diligence process including reviewing and abstracting key documents (e.g. loan docs operating agreements PSAs leases).
Document Review & Abstraction: Synthesize legal and financial documents and extract critical information for internal review and reporting.
Escrow Management: Coordinate directly with escrow officers to manage timelines documentation and fund transfers.
Issue Spotting: Identify potential risks or contract issues that could hinder the business plan and propose solutions.
Data Organization: Maintain organized records of all dealrelated data documents and deliverables.
Closing Coordination: Collaborate with lenders escrow officers attorneys and brokers to ensure smooth and timely closings.
Communication Management: Serve as the main point of contact for all transaction stakeholders including legal teams brokers lenders and inspectors.
Lender and Investor Compliance: Track and ensure compliance with loan covenants investor obligations and postclosing deliverables.
Reporting & Documentation: Draft internal reports and postclosing summaries outlining key transaction points and due diligence outcomes.
Preferred Candidate Background:
Strong documenthandling and contract review skills ideal for someone with paralegal legal assistant real estate office or RFP coordination experience.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple ongoing projects.
High level of organization able to synthesize and extract actionable information from dense legal and financial documents.
Detailoriented with the ability to spot issues and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Experience working with real estate transactions preferred though a legal background is also welcome.
Candidates should submit work samples or deal experience summaries when applying.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in real estate acquisitions/dispositions escrow or legal transactions.
Familiarity with key transaction documents: loan documents PSAs operating agreements leases etc.
Strong understanding of due diligence and closing processes in commercial real estate or legal environments.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Excel Outlook and basic project management tools.
