About the role
We are looking for a structured and technically skilled Maintenance Planner who wants to play a key role in our preventive maintenance efforts. In this role you are responsible for planning organizing and coordinating work orders for both daily and longterm maintenance activities.
Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing the plans used to carry out prioritized and approved work. Most tasks planned by the routine Maintenance Planner will be scheduled and executed according to the weekly schedule or the maintenance plan.
You will work in close collaboration with maintenance supervisors technicians and external contractors to ensure that the right resources materials and safety measures are in place before each job begins. You will use a maintenance management system to manage work orders update statuses track costs and contribute to continuous improvement.
You will review incoming work orders ensure they meet our standards assess complexity and priority and develop detailed work plans. The role requires both technical understanding and strong collaboration skills as you will be a central part of ensuring plant availability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Degree diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or another technical education combined with 46 years of relevant work experience.
At least two years of experience in installation supervision
Ability to maintain strong relationships with both internal and external suppliers
Fluent communication skills in English both written and spoken
Previous involvement in HVDC FACTS or AC high voltage station projects is an advantage
