JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Strategic Planner with a holistic vision capable of translating business goals into inspiring actionable and culturally relevant strategies.
You will be responsible for providing strategic perspective to daily projects internal initiatives and new business challenges by combining analysis creativity and cultural sensitivity.
You will move between rigorous analysis and creative intuition helping to build strategies that connect brands with people in an increasingly complex and changing world.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deep Dives with current clients:
- Gain a deep understanding of our clients their brands audiences business challenges and cultural context.
- Support account creative and production teams in ongoing strategic processes with a longterm vision.
Strategic projects:
- Analyze audiences culture competitors and trends to identify powerful and actionable insights.
- Translate briefs into clear creative strategies that connect business culture and creativity.
- Write inspiring briefs that activate the creative team and ensure strategic coherence.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and suggest continuous improvements.
Ecosystem & Insights:
- Conduct ongoing desk research on cultural trends brands industry and consumers.
- Identify and suggest relevant Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) communities and movements for the brands.
- Keep competitive and cultural maps of our clients and key sectors up to date.
Internal initiatives:
- Provide strategic thinking in internal projects that strengthen our positioning processes and culture (such as Circular Making Skate Agora or Marketing & Comms).
- Participate in evolving our service offering helping to innovate how we think about and do strategy.
New business & pitches:
- Play an active role in new business processes helping to build strategic proposals that respond in a relevant innovative and distinctive way to each challenge.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in communication advertising marketing or related fields (hybrid profiles or those with complementary disciplines are welcome).
- 3 years of experience in strategic planning roles.
- Solid experience in comms planning; knowledge of brand planning or media planning is a plus.
- Analytical and synthesis skills focused on problemsolving and opportunity identification.
- Ability to interpret data (quantitative and qualitative) and turn it into actionable strategies.
- Strong writing skills: able to structure ideas clearly persuasively and engagingly.
- Collaborative spirit and desire to be part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Spanish and high level of English (Catalan is a plus).
- An insatiable curiosity about the world around you: culture creativity sustainability innovation.
