Job Description
Role: Transformation PMO Consultant Local Government projects
Consulting Seniority: Junior Consultant Manager
Day rate: 300500/day (outside IR35 (depending on the role and your seniority)
Project duration: 12 month initially 34 days per week)
Location: Hybrid in London
Were collaborating with a boutique consultancy that specialises in delivering transformation projects within the public sector. Theyre seeking independent consultants with PMO experience in local government projects. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing complex programs and driving successful change initiatives within local authorities.

Tasks
- PMO: Maintain comprehensive program oversight by managing detailed project plans tracking milestones and deliverables across workstreams monitoring resource allocation and maintaining a centralized risk and issue log to proactively identify and address potential challenges
- Governance: Develop and implement robust governance frameworks to ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with organisational objectives and compliance standards.
- Organisational Transformation: Drive endtoend initiatives aligning strategy structure and culture to deliver sustainable change and improved business performance
Requirements

- Nice to have: Experience working in local government projects
- Nice to have: Proven consulting experience ideally with prior experience in fulltime consulting management stage gate management financial tracking/budget cycles
