SENCO Inclusive Secondary School Croydon ASAP Start
Location: Croydon
Contract: FullTime FixedTerm (until July 2025)
Salary: MPS/UPS TLR (depending on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate SENCO to join a forwardthinking and inclusive secondary school in Croydon on a fixedterm basis. With a strong focus on inclusion the school supports a wide range of learners including those with EHCPs specific learning needs and social emotional or mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be a confident experienced practitioner with a deep understanding of how to lead highquality SEND provision across a busy secondary setting.

Your Role as SENCO:
You will lead on the strategic and operational management of SEND provision across the school. Responsibilities will include overseeing EHCP reviews managing the SEND register developing and monitoring personalised learning plans and working closely with staff to ensure highquality classroom support. You will also liaise regularly with families and external agencies to ensure the needs of each learner are fully understood and met.
Who Should Apply
We welcome applications from experienced teachers with QTS and previous experience working in or with SEND provision. Holding the NASENCO qualification is preferred though applications from those currently working toward it will also be considered. You will need excellent communication and leadership skills strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
