Location: KensingtonRole: Food Technology Teacher (FullTime Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 34 emphasizing practical application.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of nutrition food science and practical cookery skills within Food Technology.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Food Technology curriculum focusing on practical outcomes.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Food Technology evaluating practical skills.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular cooking clubs or healthy eating initiatives promoting practical food skills.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Food Technology.
- Degree in Food Technology Nutrition or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply) with a focus on practical cookery.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition food science food safety and practical cookery techniques relevant to Food Technology.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with a focus on safety in the Food Technology kitchen and the delivery of practical lessons.
- A passion for fostering an understanding of food and practical cooking skills through Food Technology.
