Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Finance and Adaptive Planning Functional Consultant to join our Finance Technical team in the United Kingdom. This role requires deep functional knowledge of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning to support enterprise finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation configuration and optimization of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable compliant solutions.
- Drive system enhancements regression testing and deployment activities.
- Conduct user training and support issue resolution as a subject matter expert (SME).
- Maintain data integrity and ensure process alignment with organizational standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement and governance of finance systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Workday Financials (e.g. Financial Accounting Procurement Expenses).
- Handson experience with Adaptive Planning including model building and reporting.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams.
- Workday certification(s) in Financials or Adaptive Planning is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in a multinational or complex enterprise environment.
- Prior involvement in Workday implementation or upgrade projects.
Workday Financials experience including one or more modules such as Financial Accounting, Procurement, or Expenses. Adaptive Planning expertise experience with model building, forecasting, and dashboard/report creation. Strong understanding of finance/accounting principles and their application in ERP systems. Workday Certification (preferred) in Financials or Adaptive Planning. Excellent communication skills ability to interact with finance and IT stakeholders. Experience gathering and translating business requirements into system functionality. Authorization to work in the UK (British Citizen, ILR, Settled Status, etc..
