Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $18$20/hr (DOE)
Hours: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (Saturdays as needed based on workload)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Tulsa OK
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Tulsa. This role plays a key part in evaluating production processes conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with quality safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate production operations to ensure compliance with quality integrity functionality and other specifications.
Develop and implement standard testing and evaluation procedures.
Facilitate clear communication between production divisions and management.
Assess test results and recommend necessary adjustments.
Conduct inspections and perform quality control checks.
Complete all related documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Provide periodic status updates to leadership and regulatory bodies as needed.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in dimensional inspection
Experience with magnetic particle dye penetrant and PMI testing
Strong blueprint reading skills
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control
Knowledge of ASTM & ASME material specifications
Understanding of AWS & ASME welding specifications
CWI certification preferred
Familiarity with necessary quality control tools and gauges
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a shop or yard environment
Must be capable of extensive walking standing climbing ladders and scaffolding crouching twisting and stooping
