JOB Graduate Project Engineer
LOCATION Hemel Hempstead
TERM Permanent
SALARY 28000 to 37000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead that is looking to hire a Graduate Project Engineer. This role is ideal for someone with 12 years of industry experience who is looking to develop their career in project engineering.
The Graduate Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or qualification in Mechanical Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (BEng MEng HND HNC etc..
- 12 years of industry experience in a relevant engineering role.
- Exposure to project engineering design or manufacturing processes.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings materials and manufacturing methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office is desirable.
The Graduate Project Engineer role will involve:
- Assisting with the planning coordination and of engineering projects.
- Supporting design manufacturing and installation processes.
- Liaising with clients suppliers and internal teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Preparing technical documentation reports and project updates.
- Identifying and resolving engineering issues that arise during projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the required specifications.
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiency gains.
