Audit Senior Public Accounting Firm
Location: Dallas TX
Job Type: Fulltime
A forwardthinking clientfocused public accounting firm providing audit tax and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of businesses and nonprofits. Our team is collaborative detailoriented and committed to helping our clients succeed while maintaining a strong worklife balance.
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion. Youll work closely with partners and managers while mentoring staff and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan execute and oversee financial statement audits reviews and compilations
Lead engagement teams and ensure work is completed within deadlines and budget
Assess internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
Prepare and review audit documentation in accordance with GAAS and firm standards
Communicate effectively with clients to address audit findings and recommendations
Supervise mentor and train junior staff and interns
Stay current on professional standards and regulatory changes
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Masters preferred)
35 years of recent audit experience in public accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP GAAS and internal control systems
Excellent analytical communication and project management skills
Experience with audit software (e.g. CCH ProSystem fx CaseWare etc. and Microsoft Office
