Job Description
The Mundy Companiesa leader in the industrial maintenance services and construction fields is currently hiring the following for a positionin the La Porte Texas area:
CRANE OPERATOR
4 x 10s with OT
NCCCO RIGGING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Must have experienceand ability with fixed and swing cab. The crane onsite is a Tadano 130 Ton and a 20 Ton Broderson Picker.
Forklift experience preferred. May be asked to operate other types of equipment.
This position requires willingness to work overtime as needed and/or callouts as needed as well as in other craft job requirements for this position are listed below:
- Must have had Equipment Operator training and certificate from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO TSS and TLL)
- Must have a minimum of three 3 years certified experience operatingBOTHLARGE & SMALLcranes in an industrial environment
- Additional knowledge and requirements as needed
Job Duties:
- Operate a stationary or mobile crane to lift move position reposition or place machinery equipment or other large objects at construction sites and inside industrial facilities
- Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of the crane and hoist movement in accordance with signal written or verbal commands in a safe and effective manner
- Inspect crane for safety issues daily and determine if any parts may be malfunctioning in order to keep the equipment in safe operating condition
- Inspect rig and ensure rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines
- Follow any and all safety regulations site requirements company policies and operating procedures
- Keep the personal safety of everyone in mind at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
