Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Inpatient cardiologyfocused role within a regional medical center
- Crosstrained in the outpatient clinic and available for a flexible fulltime schedule with the ability to pick up additional shifts in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with cardiologists intensivists and the broader hospital team
- Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of acute and chronic cardiac conditions
- Perform admissions consultations and daily rounding
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and discharge planning
- EPIC EMR and strong hospital support services

Qualifications :
- Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
- Possesses and maintains current Board Certification of Nurse Practitioner Adult Gerontology or Acute Care certified preferred
- Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possesses and maintains if applicable appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Experience in cardiology ICU or inpatient hospitalist settings strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment communication and teambased care skills

Compensation:
- Pay Range: $104416.00 $144102 (Compensation is determined based on years of experience as an advanced practice provider).
- Overtime is earned for any work performed beyond 40 hours.
