Job Description

Reston Hospital Center is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to launch Northern Virginias newest cardiothoracic surgery program just outside of Washington D.C. in the fastgrowing and highly desirable community of Reston VA. Qualified Candidates:Board certifiedMinimum of 5 years of experience requiredSuperb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaborationDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the team of our growing program and have a positive track record of team buildingCommitment to building an STS 3star programExperience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and mitral)Experience in open and endovascular aortic proceduresExperience in routine thoracic proceduresKnowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular proceduresCapable of doing complex cases in independent settingVirginia licensure or ability to obtainIncentive/Benefits Package:Hospital employment offering competitive compensation and full benefits package401K with company contributionCME allowance and days offHealth/life/dental insurancePaid malpractice
