MISSION

The Digital Product Designer is a detailobsessed designer with a strong visual design sensibility and a passion for . Youll be responsible for building highquality productionready interfaces within established design systems. Youll be handson in Figma collaborating closely with developers and ensuring every pixel hits the mark.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the nuts and bolts of designbringing interfaces to life with precision and polishwhile always keeping the user front and centre.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional

  • Design and maintain robust reusable components and UI patterns in Figma
  • Partner with engineers to ensure accurate implementation and design fidelity
  • Deliver clean consistent and userfriendly designs across web and mobile platforms
  • Uphold and extend the design system to maintain visual and interaction consistency
  • Always advocate for the customerensuring that designs not only support business goals but are deeply rooted in user needs
  • Bridge the gap between stakeholder requirements and intuitive functional user experiences
  • Contribute to design critiques and iterate based on feedback
  • Own executional details edge cases and responsive states
  • objectives while reducing costs and increasing standardization and leverage across existing solutions.
  • Ensure the of team deliverables and adapt team priorities based on changing needs
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decisionmaking and design processes
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigos customers
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement diagnosing issues and working to resolve them

  • Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions quickly and easily
  • Share technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself

Reports to: Director Digital Product Design

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Internal:

  • Product Management
  • IT Development
  • Online Merchandising
  • Marketing
  • Creative Studio

External:

  • 3rd party online service providers such as agencies vendors freelancers

Qualifications :

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • 24 years of professional digital design experience
  • Portfolio that demonstrates excellent UI design craft usability thinking and attention to detail
  • Degree in related field

Competencies / Skills / Attributes

  • Expertlevel Figma skills including components autolayout and libraries
  • Strong visual design craft: typography spacing color and hierarchy
  • Solid understanding of responsive design and layout principles
  • Ability to turn complex product requirements into simple elegant and usable UI
  • Familiarity with usability heuristics and a basic UX research mindset
  • Comfort working with developers with a basic understanding of HTML/CSS
