Site Overview
Established in 2000 the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies advanced materials and additive manufacturing.
Role Overview:
Support various development activities using NX Open; TC e.g. Coding Testing etc.
Develop/enhance NX/TC custom applications meeting customer/end users expectations
Support measure product health metrics and use to drive improvements to product
Develop process improvement scripts using Java Python etc. as needed
Participate in scrum ceremonies to ensure that deliverables are on track ensuring good quality
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline:
Around 34 years of relevant experience:
Use of NXOpen APIs for development of custom CAD applications with good knowledge of .NET & MFC
Good handson exposure to NXOpen API development with NX manager TC ITK / SOA programming & TC modules (including RAC/AWC exposure)
Strong knowledge of C/C & C#
Knowledge of assemblies
Good knowledge of various NX applications like Modelling assemblies drafting Manufacturing
Good understanding of UFUNC / NXOpen APIs and their functionalities
Ability to translate design intent into NXOpen API program in a TC integrated environment
Exposure and understanding of knowledge fusion
Basic understanding of TC configuration and customization
Understanding of SCRUM process and work in AGILE environment
