Job Description

Today rocket launch options are slow expensive and unreliable. Stoke is building the worlds most efficient fully and rapidly reusable rocket designed to fly daily that will radically increase access to space and open up the space economy to safeguard our precious home Earth.

Description

Reusable systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Efficient dramafree technical operations are foundational to these efforts. We are a small and motivated team and as an IT Test Technician at Stoke Spaces Moses Lake test facility youll play a key role in supporting test operations at Stoke. Youll collaborate with our IT Test and Engineering teams in a fastmoving startup environment as we accelerate toward the first launch of Nova. You must be ready to stay focused move fast selfdirect and learn on the fly.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain computers cameras control PCs peripherals and other IT systems
  • Assist our vehicle software team with instrumentation and control(I&C) bringup of software devices and infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain our surveillance camera infrastructure for testactivities
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for equipment at test stands and inthe office
  • Install configure and troubleshoot computer systems that support ourtest facilities
  • Setup workstations and IT resources for new employees
  • Assist with the of IT projects including system upgradesmigrations and maintenance
  • Serve as primary point of contact for sitespecific ITrelated duties
  • As part of a small team you will also perform everyday tasks to keepthe site running (shipping and receiving general and administrativetasks etc.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent handson experience in a technical support role
  • 24 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common software hardware andconnectivity issues
  • Willing to work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Able to stoop bend crawl and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Passion for building something with high quality willing to attendwork with a positive and humble attitude and willing to takeownership of large and small tasks to help the team be successful
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Unbeatable drive and ownership with a willingness to act proactivelyto find solutions
  • All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building up low voltage and data acquisition systems
  • Experience with industrial control systems
  • Experience building and troubleshooting large camera systems
  • Experience with GIT or CI/CD tooling

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 1 Range: $34.85 $50.48
  • Level 2 Range: $44.71 $63.70
