As a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor you will supervise a team of construction inspectors while executing various technical responsibilities related to the inspection of transportation projects. Your role will ensure that all construction projects adhere to approved plans standards specifications and contractual agreements. You will focus on inspecting materials and workmanship for road and bridge projects which may include tasks such as roadway overlays widening stabilization earthwork guiderail installation and drainage.
Your responsibilities will involve interpreting contract requirements through careful analysis of specifications and drawings as well as applying a range of testing and inspection methods. This position demands independent judgment to make informed technical decisions onsite ensuring that all aspects of the construction process meet the necessary quality and safety standards.
