Director eCommerce
About the Role
Were looking for an eCommerce Director to join our growing activation team at OMD EMEA in London. If youre passionate about driving ecommerce growth for a portfolio of global brands this is the role for you.
Your focus will be to drive the clients Amazon performance in Europe for a large skin care brand.
This role will lead the team in performance and strategic implementation across Amazon. The scope of work is European markets and critical to the clients scope of work. Overseeing 56 team members and reporting to the Head of eCommerce.
You will work with local agency teams to devise awardwinning platform campaigns that leverage all aspects of Amazons ads ecosystem to build brands and grow sales. You will define the right mix of media channels & tactics on Amazon across Sponsored Ads/Search DSP Display Video Twitch Live & OffAmazon media.
The primary focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of daytoday Amazon Advertising activity working towards set performance targets and ensuring campaign implementation is in line with agency best practice driving ecommerce success for the client.
This role requires a candidate that can clearly identify and communicate key insights retail industry opportunities and collaborate with other channel teams across the agency. Its a mix of strategy 70 and hands on activation work 30
This role requires outstanding performance and optimisation skills strong client management skills team management experience and the ability to be a mentor on all things global retail media for all direct reports and peers across the agency.
This role would suit if you have a keen desire to take ownership build relationships internally and externally whilst being part of a team that is growing in a key investment area of our business
