Job Description
We are looking for a CoOp Student to join our dynamic team where every day brings challenges and opportunities to learn new skills and make a positive impact. You will work in a fun fastpaced and collaborative environment helping to deploy infrastructure and engineering applications to our user community. You will work alongside experienced professionals eager to share their knowledge and help you succeed.
We have a focus on deploying welldesigned solutions that are maintainable secure and welldocumented with an emphasis on automation and DevOps best practices.
Your Day to Day Will Include
- Building and maintaining virtual environments to host our solutions and support the team
- Deployment of applications and services including integrating them together
- Writing scripts or tools automating tasks such as setup provisioning environment monitoring data collection and reporting to name a few
- Evaluating new tools and technologies to improve the way we work
- Developing streamlining and communicating processes and best practices

Qualifications :
Essential Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or College Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience working with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell
- Fundamental understanding of Server and Desktop Operating systems
- Love working in a team environment collaborating and sharing your knowledge
- Ability to analyze complex issues develop and recommend options and implement solutions
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a git environment with a modern IDE or directly on the commandline
- Practice working with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- Any knowledge of VM environments or containerization tools like Docker
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations.
