As the product owner you will be at the forefront of integrating advanced AI and machine learning technologies into our procurement processes. Your mission is to create a seamless intelligent system that empowers category managers with realtime actionable insights on suppliers enabling faster more informed decisionmaking.
This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen product vision and business savvy. Youll be expected to navigate complex stakeholder relationships drive collaboration and make datadriven decisions that significantly impact Amazons procurement strategy.
This Product Manager in this role will benefit from technical expertise in AI/ML and data architecture combined with strong business acumen in procurement processes. Youll be working with a complex stakeholder landscape including leadership category managers and technical teams while managing integration with existing procurement systems.
The impact of this role is significant youll be building a solution that directly influences billions in annual procurement spend while setting the foundation for future expansion to other sourcing teams and business units across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities Define product strategy execute roadmap and align development with business goals while collaborating across functions. Lead the integration with internal applications focusing on creating an intuitive search experience that reduces research time through AIpowered insights. Introduce and launch new features that integrate supplier intelligence into standard procurement processes. Craft a user experience that integrates smoothly into both existing and future workflows. Own the technical vision for key components including search capabilities data integration and future integration with other applications. Partner with crossfunctional teams data science and engineering to deliver a robust solution that meets strict accuracy data quality and performance requirements.
5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience Bachelors degree Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with end to end product delivery Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product Experience managing technical products or online services Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning
Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements prioritize incoming work requests and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
