The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for a senior criminal analyst to fill the Intelligence Supervisor position. This position is responsible for supervising and managing the agencys Criminal Intelligence Analyst (CIA) teams. It reviews criminal intelligence information and statistics to generate intelligence data. Briefs executives and management with intelligence metrics and case studies. Oversees the daily operations of CIA teams by developing goals and expectations facilitating and supervising training budgeting managing schedules evaluating and documenting work performance. Also selects and hires criminal intelligence analysts.
Supervises the analytical assignments of analysts and/or requests for assistance by prioritizing the collection of data monitors progress and work products makes recommendations and projects workload to ensure accountability quality control and timely coordination of projects and cases
Conducts research utilizing law enforcement restricted and open source databases
Analyzes and interprets information and compiles data into reports maps charts and graphs related to crime and prison operation trends
Briefs upper management and prepares reports on analysis case studies personnel and other metrics
Mentors subordinates analysts and facilitates formal training
Supervises analysts daily through work evaluations and documents performance
Develops and defines metrics for tracking and reporting to executive staff
Acts as liaison to various internal and external stakeholders
Provides analytical assistance collects and disseminates intelligence data and shares resources
Drives on State business
Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:

Work with a diverse group including agency staff and outside law enforcement
At least 10 years of prior experience as a criminal analyst from a law enforcement agency
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
Obtain a DPS Level B Terminal Operator Certification within six months of hire and maintain certification throughout the assignment to this position.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
