Job Description

Theology TeacherMalden Catholic a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Codivisional High School for young men and women seeks a candidate for a Theology teaching position for theschool year. Masters degree in the field and minimum 2 years teaching experience to support Catholic mission of the School. Content Area Competency and ExcellenceClassroom Management SkillsVerbal Communication & Presentation SkillsSelfMotivation Flexibility and Ability to Motivate StudentsCandidate should be a practicing Catholic and should have a joyful willingness to support and model the Catholic mission of the schoolAbility to Motivate Students Flexibility; an understanding of the pastoral role of campus ministers in the high school setting; the ability to engage and inspire all students along their faith journeyCandidates should have the competency and passion to engage every student in a rigorous college preparatory curriculum as well as a desire to become an active and collegial member of an adult community of Teacher:Teaches 5 periods courses as the Catholic values of the promotes and nurtures the secondary level education of students by planning and tailoring courses of study; monitoring assisting with and assessing academic a safe classroom environment conducive to learning and attentive to varied learning styles. Keeps parents informed of student Catholic encourages all members of the faculty in addition to teaching to be involved in the life of the school beyond the classroom supporting the wide range of cocurricular intramural and interscholastic programs we offer.
