Job Title: Psychology TA for Research Methods with lab (Psych 230
Department Name: Psychology
Contact Person/Supervisor: Prof. Piercarlo Valdesolo
Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Work with Prof. Valdesolo to 1 prepare for labs 2 help run lab sessions 3 assist students on semesterlong research projects and other APAstyle lab reports. TAs will assist professor in light grading advising students on the soundness ethics and feasibility of their semesterlong research projects and holding review sessions to help students prepare for exams. Lab times Student must be able to attend at least one of the labs (please specify which lab). This position is available to two students one available for each lab time.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Help prepare lab session materials Assist students during lab sessions (guiding research projects)
Help grade lab/class assignments
Clean and organize lab
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Successful completion of the lab student is assisting Dependable and punctual
Statistical data analysis skills and proficiency in SPSS Experience with a diverse array of lab equipment
Strong APAstyle writing skills
Comfort with experimental research designs
