SHIFTS AND HOURS
- We have a parttime day position available. 6:30 am to 7:00 pm)
- Scheduled Shifts are 12 Hours shift differentials available
- PartTime Medication Aides Shifts can be flexible according to your own schedule great if you are completing your Nursing Course.
- Rotate Weekend Shifts.
TRAINING AND ORIENTATION
Keystone Treatment Center is committed to Training and Safety. All New Hire Medication Aides will attend a 2 Day Facility Orientation and Patient Treatment Program Overview before spending 2 Weeks in Unit Orientation with a Preceptor. We can accommodate shadow shifts for interested candidates!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE MEDICATION AIDE (MEDAID)
- Provide Nursing care as directed by the Nurse Staff and in conformance with the established standards and administrative policies
- Communicate clearly and effectively to patients their family members guests and other members of the health care team.
- Passes and charts daily medications as directed by nurse
- Provides therapeutic listening and guidance as required
- May transfer or transport patients
- Performs room checks
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred.
