About the Biology Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our highachieving Science department. The successful Biology Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students with engaging lessons and a passion for the subject.
Responsibilities of the Biology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver highquality Biology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Biology concepts and develop their scientific skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Biology providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Biology teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Biology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Biology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Biology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring students.
