Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join a highachieving and wellrespected primary school in Redbridge starting in September 2025. This is a fulltime permanent position ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver highquality and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 2.
- Monitor assess and track pupils progress providing constructive feedback and targeted support where needed.
- Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment that encourages childrens academic and social development.
- Differentiate lessons and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners including those with SEND and EAL.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues teaching assistants and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers keeping them informed about their childs progress.
- Contribute to school life beyond the classroom including events trips and extracurricular opportunities.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum particularly for Year 2.
- A commitment to raising standards and delivering outstanding teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners to achieve their best.
- A reflective flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing positively to the school community.
