Wilkes University invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Sports Management position in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership Department of Marketing and Sports Management. The Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership proudly holds the AACSB accreditation.
The successful candidate is responsible for teaching sports management courses such as Sport Analytics Sport Marketing Sport Law and other business courses as needed; engage in scholarly activity; and offer service to the school university and community. In addition the faculty member will be responsible for mentoring traditional undergraduate students interested in Sports Management and supervising/conducting related field research. A Ph.D. in Sports Management or Business Administration with a sports focus or a Ph.D. in a closely related field is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience teaching sports management courses. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
